Lifetime warranty and terms

  • We will replace defective (non-reporting) equipment for free when equipment has a Lifetime warranty or within the first year from the date of purchase. Equipment sold from 2014 onward carries a lifetime warranty. Prior to 2014, equipment had the option of lifetime warranty which you would have had to pay for ($95 each) otherwise it a 1-year warranty applies.
  • Equipment warranty is void if you, or driver, have tampered with, opened the case, remove the plastic skin, smashed, improperly applied voltage (frying), gotten wet, melted; basically wrecked the Equipment through negligence. Replacement cost for damaged units is $145.00 + GST CAD. Warranty is only in effect for you, and your account if it's in good standing and have no overdue or delinquent invoices.
  • Lifetime warranty is a warranty valid for the life of the customer relationship between GPS Police and the Customer. Lifetime warranty also protects you against hardware obsoletion or network changes. In other words, as long as you are a non-delinquent customer we will always make sure you have up-to-date working equipment.

Warranty Replacements

If your equipment is acting strangely or completely dead for any reason we like to learn why and that means we need to get the device back for inspection. We want your equipment working with minimal downtime now and in the future. Equipment is very robust with 95% of investigated problems due to poor wiring, poor device placement or tampering. If you can't figure out why your equipment is not working, we will gladly help you.

Call us at +1 (877) 411-1110 to explain the problem. Once the equipment is confirmed to be in need of inspection, you need to make a decision on how you'd like to proceed by filling out the warranty form below.

If a replacement needs to be sent to you, there is a holding fee of $145.00 + GST CAD. This charge will be refunded when the old device is returned to our Calgary office.

A Fair Refund Policy

  • Orders may be refunded if shipped back to us within 30 days from the date of receiving the Equipment. Refunds are not processed until the equipment has been shipped back and inspected.
  • Subscriptions (airtime service) are not refundable unless explicitly declared on an invoice or receipt at the time of purchase.
  • Refund transactions are posted back onto the credit card used for the original purchase. If a cheque payment was made, the refund will be made by cheque.


If you wish to return your Equipment for any reason, we'll accept it and refund the Equipment. You have 30 days from the day of the order being received to return the Equipment to us for a refund. If you never install it, we'll refund the full Equipment price.
