Troubleshooting
Device not reporting or updating
possible causes: tampering, wiring problem, sim card failure, device failureSometimes a device will stop reporting or updating, either intermittently, or permanently. First thing you'll have to do is find out how long ago and then look at the history to see if there is any indication that a fuse has blown or something else.
Towing
When a device reports Possible Towing, it's reporting this because it is sensing motion or movement, it has calculated it has moved from the last place the ignition was turned off. If you are seeing a lot of towing, it can be caused by a few factors relating to a less than ideal installation.
Power disconnect
When a device reports Power Disconnect, it is because of incoming power (red wire = constant voltage) (black wire = ground) has stopped. Eg. red wire disconnected. Troubleshoot by checking the device and wiring harness using a multi-meter or vehicle diagnostic probe to ensure all wiring is connected correctly and securely.

Moving: no ignition detected
When a device reports Moving, No Ignition Detected, it is because of ignition sense wire (green wire = ignition) is not detecting power level voltage. Troubleshoot by checking the devices green wire using a multi-meter or vehicle diagnostic probe to ensure power level voltage. You can check the below links for vehicle wiring diagrams.
